Bianca and Ben’s wedding at the Squantum Association was the kind of day that reminds me why fall weddings in New England always feel a little bit magical. September 22, 2024 landed right in that sweet spot where the air is crisp but the sun still feels warm, and Squantum’s waterfront views were showing off from the moment I arrived.

Their whole celebration embraced the season in such a charming way. Pumpkins of every size tucked into corners, lining pathways, and framing tabletops created a cozy, harvest-inspired atmosphere that made the entire venue feel inviting. Their palette of burnt orange and navy pulled everything together beautifully, rich in tone and perfect for early fall.

Bianca and Ben exchanged vows in front of a circle arch from Amore Arches. The arch was dressed with florals and pumpkins that echoed their colors and theme. From behind my camera, the symmetry of that setup made every angle a pleasure to capture. Still, the part that stayed with me most was the way the two of them kept glancing at each other, as if quietly trying to hold on to the moment and calming each other’s nerves.

After the ceremony came the cannon.

Anyone who has photographed a wedding at Squantum knows the cannon is part of the tradition, but even expecting it does not fully prepare you. Ben lit it off after the ceremony with the biggest grin, clearly thrilled for this moment. I braced myself, yet still jumped when it went off. The boom rolled across the water, and everyone burst into laughter and cheers. It instantly became one of those classic Squantum memories that never loses its charm.

Bianca and Ben’s day felt warm, joyful, and full of personality, a perfect autumn celebration that fit them completely.
