Micro-Wedding at Harbor Lights | Warwick, RI

Micro-weddings at Harbor Lights have been going on all season because of the pandemic. They’ve been doing a great job their handling the craziness and making sure that everyone has been super safe. When the coordinator there, Tie, contacted me to photograph Phung and Hong’s micro-wedding I was really happy to help out! They have a great venue there and I know how well they take care of their couples.

Phung and Hong were actually already married in Vietnam but it was very important for them to have a wedding here in the States too! Phung wore a gorgeous Maggie Sottero Dress and her earrings were from her mother-in-law given as a traditional tea ceremony gift. Both were gorgeous!

They had their ceremony outside overlooking the water and there were smiles and happy tears everywhere. It was such a pretty spot that we chose to do the family formals there too! After a few romantic photos during sunset, we headed inside to the reception. Phung and Hong decorated their sweetheart table/dance floor with a really pretty circular arbor with flowers. These types of arbors have become very popular in the past two years. I really love what they can add to a ceremony or reception. I also think it frames the couple better than your average rectangular one does.

Phung and Hong chose to get all of their formalities out of the way at the very beginning of the reception so that everyone could just party the rest of the night! There was dancing, shots, laughter, and tears. You can tell that this is a family and a couple filled with love. I’m so happy I could be a part of their day!
