Micro-Wedding at Hotel Providence | Providence, RI

Kelsey and Brian celebrated with close family at their micro-wedding at Hotel Providence. I felt very honored to photograph this wedding as Kelsey is one of my closest friends and even a bridesmaid in my own wedding!

While they are still planning a huge wedding for when the pandemic is over, they didn’t want to wait any longer to celebrate their love! Everyone came together to help plan this event for them and it was magical!

Getting ready was done at their new home and the first look was done there as well. Kelsey was so elegant coming down their front steps for Brian to see her. Their new home also served as the perfect backdrop for their family formals and their couple’s portraits. The fall colors really accented the flowers Kelsey chose!

In true fashion, they did things their own way! Even being their own MC! This led to a very funny moment during the ring exchange when the song from Rocky accidentally started playing!

At their reception, they decided to get all of the “formalities” out of the way at the beginning of the evening so they could eat and dance uninterrupted which I loved. They also had macarons instead of cake which didn’t surprise me for a second because Kelsey is obsessed. There was so much singing, dancing, love, and tears.

I’m so happy I was allowed to capture their day and can’t wait to attend the next party as a guest! I love you both!
