Eisenhower House

I had so much fun planning a styled shoot at The Eisenhower House at the end of March this year! I get itchy after a slow winter to get shooting again and it’s such a beautiful location!

Marcus and Victor were very excited to be our models for the day. They said it was like a trial run for their future big day! I’m so happy that we could give them a real peek into what their day could look like and as models they were amazing! So natural in front of the camera!

Vendors

Whitney from WR Design and Decor provided all of our florals for the shoot. I loved the pieces she did for our ceremony arch and for our reception table. We even got to highlight a new rental option for her couples this year, the gold geometric floral stand. I personally love this as an option to give height and interest to your tables but it also doesn’t block you from seeing guests on the other side of the table! We also featured her boutonnieres on both of our grooms and smaller pieces for our cocktail tables.

Shanna from Shanna Lyn Calligraphy provided our Lavender and Grey themed invitation suite. I love the detail in the envelope of the Eisenhower House! She also provided our table cards, menu, and Mr. & Mr. sign. She did such an amazing job! Shanna has so many options to customize your day. You should definitely check out her website for all of them!

Aldo provided our trendy tuxes from Aldo’s House of Formals. I’ve worked with Aldo in the past on other styled shoots and he always provides amazing service. If you are looking for a local option for your tux rentals or a custom piece I wouldn’t go anywhere else. No one will treat you as well as he will.

Make-up isn’t just for brides my friends! Grooms can use a little extra glow on their wedding day too! Jess from Limitless Beauty can help you with dark circles, shiny skin, blemishes, scars, and tattoo coverage giving you flawless skin for your photos.

Videographers always feel like my partner in crime. As a photographer, I work so closely with the videographer that we are usually less than a foot away from each other all day. Ashlee fromĀ Still Water Wedding Films is a great person to spend the day with as a vendor and as a wedding couple. She misses nothing and her videos really capturing the feeling of the day.

I’m so grateful to everyone who participated in this styled shoot. I’ve been planning this one in my head for a while and it turned out perfectly!

Also, a big thanks to Blueflash Photography who did an amazing behind-the-scenes video for me!
