Amanda and Erik celebrate at the Publick House, MA
Amanda and Erik celebrated their one-year anniversary at the Publick House, MA! Much to the surprise of their guests (but not this photographer) Amanda and Erik officially tied the knot in 2020. I was able to attend to document the small backyard event that, despite its size, was filled with so much love. Amanda and Erik didn’t want the rest of their friends and family to feel left out, so we all kept it a secret until their big celebration this year.
Amanda was bummed about the rain but it cleared up but the time their ceremony finished! After the ceremony, we went to the back meadow for some really cool-looking skies. They literally jumped for joy in their photos.
The sweetest moment of the wedding was the toasts. Amanda’s brother is currently stationed overseas so he recorded a special toast for them to be played during the reception! It was amazing for him to part of the celebration!
Here are a few images celebrating their ceremony in 2020.
One of their favorite locations was this small library so of course, we took photos there. There was also this really neat antique phone on the wall that actually worked!
I love the lilac color there Amanda chose for their bridesmaids’ dresses and for the ties. It photographs so well and is one of my favorite colors too!
Amanda loved the really cool cemetery next to their wedding venue. “Is it weird to have wedding photos in a cemetery?” Of course not! It’s your day! Plus, “until death do you part”, right?
