Kayleigh & Matt | Nylo, Warwick, RI

Nylo in Warwick is the perfect location for a micro wedding! Kayleigh wasn’t in love with the wedding planning process which I totally respect! So a small intimate wedding was more their speed. Nylo is the perfect size for that! Kayleigh chose one of my micro wedding photography packages, so I got to spend 2 hours capturing the most important parts of their day for them.

Kayleigh and Matt really loved the industrial urban feel of this converted mill building so I tried to include many of those features in their images. I also tried to take advantage of the hotel being The Pawtuxet River on the river. There is a great small side yard with mature trees so you’d never know that we were right near the Warwick Mall! I love being able to manipulate space to transport a couple and show them how it felt to be there, not just how it looked.

This location was previously a textile mill. Originally, it produced uniforms for the civil war, and more recently it was a Fruit of the Loom mill. This explains all of the exposed brick and pipes running along the ceiling. These features only enhance the look of the place though making it more than a cookie-cutter hotel wedding.
